The painting of the Akita is finished and ready to be send to the client. I have build up a lot of layers of paint to create a nice fur texture. With more color definition and contrast the animals moves from looking somewhat flat to taking up space in a two dimensional picture plane.

The Akita is a bold and willful dog, naturally wary of strangers but extremely loyal to his family. He is alert, intelligent, and courageous. He tends to be aggressive toward other dogs, especially those of the same sex. He is best suited to a one-dog household.
